Once you download the Baby’s Brilliant app you can select the movies and music you’d like for your child. Each video or song is a $0.99 in-app purchase. I would recommend visiting the Baby’s Brilliant website before purchasing because there you can preview the videos to make sure it is really something your child would enjoy. There is a wide variety of Music to choose from ranging from Favorite Children’s songs, educational songs, Spanish songs, Lullabies and Nap Time music and even religious songs. The movies teach concepts like letters and numbers, even offering them in other languages such as German and French. There are also movies about animals, transportation, and fun animated videos of your children’s favorite songs like the ABC’s or Old MacDonald. Another fantastic category in this app is what they call “Night Lights”. Night Lights are soothing and relaxing visuals set to soothing music designed to help your baby fall asleep. All of the scenes are real nature scenes like sunsets, beautiful mountain ranges or oceans. The music is beautiful and designed to help your child drift off into a peaceful sleep. You can also create Playlists and Favorites so you can access the videos and songs you want quickly and easily.

This app was definitely designed by a brilliant parent with other parent’s in mind. Every mom needs this app! It is exactly what you need to entertain your child for a few precious moments while you get things done. It also comes with the comfort of knowing that your child’s mind is being stimulated and they aren’t just watching some mindless cartoon. I really liked the playlist and favorites feature. It is very convenient to be able to tap the “Lullaby’s” Playlist and instantly have bedtime music at my fingertips. With the Favorites feature, toddlers could even scroll through their favorite videos and music and select them all by themselves! Baby’s Brilliant is a wonderful, must-have app for every parent of young children!
